In my honest opinion, funeral viewings/wakes are disgusting... Before you flip out and start screaming at me with a key board! I want you to think about the following things.
1. You go into a room with a dead body (that doesn't bother me the most)
2. That dead body is someone you knew and cared for in your life, and you are expected to look at it, or even talk to it.
3. Having that 'last look' costs so much for being so traumatic and gross.
4. When I went to my grandmother's funeral, I still remember seeing that open casket and flipping the hell out followed by crying! Even though I was twelve, I still don't think I was ready to see THAT
